Environmental Problems Minimized in Lijiang Yunnan

The beautiful tourism destination of Lijiang not only possesses breathtaking landscapes but also good air.

Every day of 2015 in Lijiang had good air, with 308 days reaching the national primary standard. Lijiang was one of China's six cities to have no nonstandard air condition days last year.

The quality of the city's Lugu Lake is the best among Yunnan's nine plateau lakes. Noise at that location is also controlled in an appropriate range.

The Lijiang government had finished 33 environmental protection projects by 2015, 60 percent of those planned to be completed by 2016. Another 23 percent of such projects are now under construction.
