Yunnan Holds Symposium in Kunming to Develop Tourism

The 2nd China Yunnan Culture and Tourism Investment Symposium kicked off in Kunming, the capital of Yunnan province on Aug 7. The event aims to promote the development of culture, tourism and real estate.

More than 300 enterprises and organizations involved in finance, culture and tourism were invited to the symposium, and 16 prefectures and cities in Yunnan and 30 districts around China presented projects.

Jointly held by Yunnan Daily Press Group and the committee of China International Investment Fair, the two-day event will focus on nine investment hot spots, including creative businesses, theme parks, outdoor recreation and travel destinations.

During the activity, a forum on cultural and tourism investment and the on-the –spot investigations will be carried out to help participants make better investments.

The Yunnan cultural industry bureau will also award cultural demonstration counties, villages and enterprises on August 8th.
