Ink Stone Carvings Exhibited in Kunming China

The ink stone exhibition, Stationery Impression, started at the Yunnan Ethnic Museum on July 1. More than 120 ink stone artworks were displayed in the exhibition, including artwork by six prominent craft artists from Yunnan, such as Wu Yuandong.

According to the exhibition's sponsor, carved Juque ink stones are available to view during the exhibition. Juque ink stones are known as one of China's four most famous ink stones. Slim and moist, the stone gleams and is soft to the touch.

The ink stone exhibition will be displayed in Kunming for one month before exhibiting in other cities in Southwest China's Yunnan province
