Singing Performance Enriches Lijiang Culture

A cultural activity gathered more than 300 singers brought 12 performances to Lijiang, a tourist city of Yunnan province, on Jan 30.

Yu Lijun, head of the Lijiang Bureau of Press, Publication, Radio, Film and Television, introduced that the two-day event with various forms and rich contents showcases the unique charm of Lijiang traditional culture and provides a more diversified and more localized feast for worldwide tourists.

"In order to promote the transformation and upgrading of Lijiang tourism and show the new image of the city, it is necessary to protect its excellent traditional culture and promote its culture to better integrate into people and their lives, " said Zhang Wenyin, vice director of Lijiang publicity department.
