Yin Xiaojun Displays Photos in Kunming Yunnan

A photographic exhibition featuring the human geography of South and Southeast Asia opened in Kunming, Yunnan province, on Dec 2. It will close on Dec 20.

On display at the exhibition are 42 photos taken by Yunnan-based photographer Yin Xiaojun. The photos show the culture and landscape of Beijing, Yunnan province, the Xinjiang Uygur and Tibet autonomous regions, and India, Thailand and other countries.

Also exhibited are ten old pictures of Kunming in 1900 which show what the city looked like in the late Qing Dynasty (1644-1911).

Yin Xiaojun has recorded history with photographs for over 30 years. He has taken some millions of photos during his career and founded a picture website (www.720china.cn) in 2009.
