Lijiang Lijiang Airport passenger throughput exceeds 4 million

According to statistics from Lijiang Airport, the passenger throughput of Lijiang Airport has exceeded 4 million as of Oct 19, Yunnan.net reported.

By October 2013, a total of 3 million passengers passed through the airport, setting a new record for annual passenger throughput at Lijiang Airport. That record has been broken this year.

By the end of September, passenger traffic recorded a growth to 3.7 million, representing a strong 26.6 percent increase compared to the same period last year.

By now, 26 airline companies have entered Lijiang Airport with 48 air routes in operation. The total passenger throughput of Lijiang Airport is expected to reach 4.8 million by the end of this year.
